On June 20th, I decided to get my hair cut. I have had quite long hair for a few years, and although it wasn't incredibly long (I couldn't sit on it or anything!), it was long enough to be an absolute pain to take care of. My hair is quite thick, so it weighed itself down and became flat and lifeless, and it took an age to wash and dry.
Having my hair just above shoulder length now is so fun and easy to take care of, and as the weather is starting to get hotter it's definitely a lot cooler and lighter.
It was a really good decision and I would definitely tell anyone who was in two minds about getting their long hair cut short to just go for it!!
